Show #020: Sweet Dilemma![]() This is a show I've been waiting to do for a while. I first met Sweet Dilemma back in September through a mutual friend. Show #019: State![]() This week marks a return to a cozy little bar at my alma mater in Bloomington, Indiana to meet up with the band State, a high-energy punk/pop/rock outfit fronted by veteran David Barajas (ex Extra Blue Kind). Show #018: Strange Face![]() Oh, those wacky guys. This week's show is a bit chaotic as you can tell, powered by a bit too much beer and a band that, when I said, "Just be relaxed and conversational," actually took me to heart. So, for the multiple conversations and the ... (Read Full Article) |

Show #015: Rok Hollywood![]() You know, there's something almost therapeutic about spending an entire weekend kicking back with a case of beer, a laptop and doing nothing but slapping on headphones and power-editing six podcasts. It sure beats the complete stressfest that was April ar... (Read Full Article) |
Show #014: The Dirty Third![]() I could go on record saying that I struggled for a while over what to do about this week's show. That would be a lie, however. On one hand, I freely admit that some of the language, actions, and stories from this interview are completely inappropriat... (Read Full Article) |
Show #013: Aether Law![]() Okay, I think we're definitely in a rhythm now and the log-jam of old interviews is finally clearing out. Show #012: Jenn Cristy![]() Yes, please do not panic because I've managed to put out an unprecedented two shows in a row. There are still eight more to go before I'm allowed to lose steam. Solicitations and Submissions
Solicitations for blog posts can be made by sending and email to "blog -at- indyintune -dot- com" and should follow these guidelines:
- Local (Indianapolis-based) acts always have priority.
- Visisting acts playing a bill with one or more local acts are also considered.
- We generally don't like to repeat content found on other sites. If your request already has a lot of coverage on other sites, it will be considered low-priority unless you can give us an exclusive angle.
- For obvious reasons, we don't do solicited album reviews, though we do appreciate you letting us know when you have a new release. Consider coming in and talking about the album yourself live on the air or a podcast.
- All of our staff writers are unpaid enthusiasts. All requests for blog posts are entirely at their descretion.
- As such, they generally need a lot of lead-time to put something out -- we're talking weeks of lead time, not hours.
- That said, individual authors have full authority to ignore the following guidelines and write whatever they want ... if you can convince them to.
- In addition, feel free to write your own post and submit it for posting as a "guest blogger." Those almost always get accepted.
- Finally, regional or national acts submitting without meeting the above guidelines are generally ignored. We're not trying to be dicks, but if you send us a generic form-letter with your press release, and it doesn't even remotely concern a local artist or event, then you're not part of our core focus.
