The power of the Crystal Hockey Puck has really allowed us to up our guest power factor this week.  Joining us in Studio B for the first time (not for lack of trying, mind you) is Brandon Meeks.  Whether he is fronting his own jazz quartet, appearing as part of local instrumental supergroup, Native Son, or appearing as part of any number of great jazz and/or soul outfits around Indianapolis or the Midwest, Brandon is well-respected and much appreciated as one of our premier bass players and a true local music treasure.

On the other side, as we learned in this interview, Brandon is a true multi-instrumentalist who also has a respected career as a producer in multiple genres including pop, hip hop, and incidental music licensed for documentaries and TV specials.  Brandon was gracious enough during this interview to share a wide range of different projects and styles that he is currently involved in.  In all he states he has over 100 songs in "the vault" that will be making their way to future projects, so with luck, he'll continue to be an integral part of our music scene for years to come.
