Hello, Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Charity Michelle Black! I am a singer at heart, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. This summer I completed my first album/mixtape entitled, Art! It is comprised of 7 original tracks written by me, that invite the listener into the relationship roller coaster that is my world. Art also includes 4 skits that provide a mix of comedy and story telling. Music and performing have always been a part of my life and have strongly influenced my dream of becoming a professional performer! I learned the art of performance at an early age, i.e., attending arts camps, belonging to choirs, participating in plays and having an overall musical family. In short, music has been my best friend throughout my life and will always be the harmony which keeps me balanced. From fond memories of singing Beyonce's lines in a Destiny's Child cover group my friends and I created in elementary school toworking to produce my latest venture, the path to becoming a professional singer/performer is the right path for me and is also why I am reaching out to whoever will listen. Art is a compilation of my experiences. I worked hard to pour my true feelings into my albumand I am willing to work even harder to share it with the world on a professional level.
